چکیده

Pectinases are a group of enzymes with broad application, including in plant fiber processing, pectic wastewater treatment, paper pulping, fruit juice extraction, and clarification. With an increasing industrial demand for these enzymes, it is useful to isolate organisms that produce large amounts pectinase possess wide ranges stability factors like temperature pH. In this study, 17 out 29 bacteria (58.62%) from forest soil samples were pectinolytic. However, only four (S-5, S-10, S-14, S-17) showed high pectin hydrolysis zones (ranging 0.2 cm 1.7 cm). These identified based on colony morphology, microscopic characterization, biochemical characteristics, 16S rDNA sequencing. They designated as Streptomyces sp. S-14), Cellulomonas (S-10), Bacillus (S-17). Interestingly, cellulase xylanase activity addition pectinase. The quantitative assay the isolates provided proof they producers can be considered potential candidates uses. crude enzyme extracts applicable oil extraction sesame seeds apples, respectively.

Screening and identification of biosurfactant producing marine bacteria from the Caspian Sea

Marine microorganisms have unique physiological properties and novel metabolites such as biosurfactant to live in extreme habitats (e.g. oil polluted environment). The aim of this study was to characterize some biosurfactant-producing bacteria collected from sediment and seawater samples from the Caspian Sea. These bacteria were isolated using enrichment method in ONR7a medium with crude oil as...

Pectinolytic and Cellulolytic Activity of Soil Fungal Isolates From Similipal Bioreserve Forest

Twenty five fungal strains were isolated from soil of Similipal Bioreserve Forest and screened for pectinase and cellulase activity. Aspergillus sp. was found to be predominant in the sample. Out of which, Aspergillus niger and A. flavus showed high cellulolytic and pectinolytic activity having potency index of 4.5 for IFcel and 4.1 for IFpect, respectively. Parameters like pH and temperature w...

Isolation and molecular identification of carotenoid-producing bacteria

The production of pigments from bacteria is significant due to the low cost, high yield and ease of extract compared with other sources. Carotenoids are one of the most important pigments with antioxidant properties which are the precursor of vitamin A synthesis and have antibody overproduction ability, anti-tumor activity and inhibitory effect on the cardiovascular disease. The present study a...

Isolation and molecular identification of bacteria producing alkaline phosphatase enzyme from environmental sources

Alkaline phosphatase (ortho phosphate, monoester hydrolase phosphoinositide E. C. 3.1.3.1) is a non-specific metalloproteinase enzyme that is located inside periplasmic space of bacteria. This enzyme is used to measure freshwater sediment in genetic engineering for cleaning water. Isolation and molecular identification of the bacteria producing alkaline phosphatase and comparison of its product...
